Description: 1975. Swiss mechanical watch with 17 jewel manual wind movement that revived the earlier jump hour (also known as direct read or digital) display. This model was a desparate bid by swiss watch makers to counter the challenge from LED and growning LCD displays of the seventies. The Sicura was the first mechanical jump hour watch with a separate battery powered (electric) lighting function. The top button lit up the display as well as three holes on the case. Same watch was also sold using Sutton name.
