Description: 1976. Fairly early LCD watch from Microma (then owned by Intel). Sold as a 'Continuous Display Digital Watch' (unlike the red LED watches that preceeded it where a button had to be pressed to display the time). With accuracy of better than three minutes per year! Shame they only made watches for a few years because some (this one included) were cutting edge at the time. It is rumored that a previous Intel CEO still wears a Microma to this day and calls it his 15 million dollar watch - with that kind of investment in 1975 it's no wonder they were cutting edge - don't understand why they were unable to sell more actual watches because i think they're great.
